The Main Building – New York University

The NYU Main Building sits directly on Washington Square Park and serves as the central building for NYU’s Liberal Arts Program. The renovation of the Main Building involved creating a flexible gathering space with direct access to the street. A large open staircase was added to visually link the second floor to the street entry and encourage students to take the stairs to new lecture and laboratory spaces located on the upper level.
